Zhejiang Hospital Lingyin Campus

Zhejiang Hospital is a Grade III Class A comprehensive hospital directly affiliated with the Zhejiang Provincial Health Commission. Established in 1954, it has two campuses: Lingyin Campus (No. 12 Lingyin Road, Hangzhou) and Sandun Campus (No. 1229 Gudun Road). The current Party Secretary is Chen Jun. The hospital currently offers approximately 1,500 authorized beds and employs 2,576 staff members. It also operates three branch hospitals in Jinhua, Quzhou, and Shengsi. In December 2020, Zhejiang Hospital became a non-directly affiliated teaching hospital of the School of Medicine at Zhejiang University.
In its early days, the hospital primarily focused on medical care and health services for cadres as well as international medical services. In 1979, it fully opened up to foreign patients. By 2018, the Sandun campus was put into operation and officially designated as the "Zhejiang Provincial Geriatric Medical Center." As a provincial-level medical institution integrating healthcare, education, research, prevention, and wellness, the hospital houses several research institutes, including the Zhejiang Provincial Institute of Geriatric Medicine and the Research Center for Prevention and Control of Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Diseases. It also boasts 4 nationally recognized key clinical specialties and 8 provincial-level clinical specialty projects. In November 2020, the hospital was honored as an "Advanced Collective in Zhejiang Province's Fight Against COVID-19," having participated in 6 national-level research projects and earning one second-class National Award for Scientific and Technological Progress. Additionally, the hospital has been included in Zhejiang Province's provincial-level medical resource allocation plan under the "14th Five-Year" initiative and is actively involved in the construction of the National Regional Medical Center for Geriatric Diseases.
