Zhejiang Provincial People's Hospital, Lin'an Branch
Zhejiang Provincial People's Hospital Lin'an Branch (The First People's Hospital of Lin'an District, Hangzhou City) was established in 1940 and is a Grade III Class B hospital integrating medical care, emergency services, education, and research. In October 2018, it formed the Lin'an District People's Hospital Medical Consortium of Hangzhou City (with affiliated units including Jincheng Branch, Qingshanhu Branch, Hengfan Branch, and Taihu Yuan Branch). In January 2019, it was officially designated as the Affiliated Lin'an People's Hospital of Hangzhou Medical College. Additionally, in 2019, the hospital launched the Lin'an District People's Hospital Internet Hospital in Hangzhou City.
The hospital is currently a member of the Zhejiang Provincial People's Hospital Medical Consortium; it is also an affiliated hospital of the Xinhua Hospital Alliance under Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, a joint-education partner for the Master’s Program at Zhejiang University School of Medicine, and serves as the Lin'an Branch of the Hangzhou Emergency Rescue Center. Additionally, the hospital has established collaborative relationships with the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University and the Hangzhou First Hospital Group. It is also home to the Lin'an Branch of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University Center for Diagnosis and Treatment of Cranial Nerve Disorders, and functions as a collaborating hospital with the Children’s Hospital Affiliated to Zhejiang University School of Medicine.
The hospital currently boasts over 80,000 square meters of medical facilities spread across two major areas: its Yujin Street headquarters and the West City campus, occupying a total area of more than 43 mu. It houses 23 administrative and后勤 departments, as well as over 40 clinical, outpatient, and medical technology departments. The hospital has an approved capacity of 600 beds, with 972 beds currently in use. Currently, the hospital employs 1,395 active staff members and supports 266 retired employees. Among its workforce, 243 hold senior professional titles, including 66 with full professor status and 177 with associate professor status. Additionally, the hospital is home to 4 doctoral researchers and 118 master’s degree candidates. Notably, it also counts 36 "812" talents from Lin'an City and 8 "131" talents from Hangzhou City, forming a well-rounded, dynamic talent pool that seamlessly integrates experienced professionals, mid-career experts, and younger generations. To support its mission of accurate diagnosis, advanced treatment, and high-quality education, the hospital is equipped with cutting-edge medical equipment, such as a 1.5T MRI scanner, three spiral CT machines, and the Dutch Philips Allura Xper FD20 digital subtraction angiography (DSA) system—providing optimal conditions for clinical excellence.
