In 2020, the hospital jointly established a medical-engineering integration innovation platform with Zhejiang University of Technology. By 2022, it had set up the province's first Department of Medical Genetics and the Digital & Intelligent Rehabilitation Equipment Engineering Research Center. From 2023 to 2024, the hospital successively inaugurated the Bijie Hospital and Shaoxing Hospital, along with the commissioning of a dedicated helicopter landing pad. In 2024, the hospital launched the Medical AI Agent Cluster 1.0, featuring intelligent agents across various categories—including management, medical technology, and clinical care. The hospital has previously received prestigious accolades such as the "5th National Civilized Unit" and the "National Advanced Collective for Fighting the COVID-19 Pandemic." In 2025, the hospital will launch a clinical research ward focused on brain-computer interfaces and neuromodulation, collaborating closely with multiple disciplines to advance research in diagnosing and treating neurological disorders. Additionally, in 2021, the hospital forged a strategic partnership with Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University.
