Shanghai No. 11 People's Hospital
Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated Shuguang Hospital was established in 1960 through the merger of Shanghai Tenth People's Hospital and Shanghai Eleventh People's Hospital. Its predecessor was the Shanghai Siming Hospital, founded in 1906—a century-old institution in Shanghai that ranks among the city's top ten comprehensive hospitals. The hospital comprises two main campuses: the East Campus and the West Campus. It has an approved capacity of 1,000 beds, with 1,320 beds currently in use. The West Campus is located at No. 185 Puan Road, adjacent to Huaihai Park, and occupies a site of 28 mu. Meanwhile, the East Campus officially opened on April 23, 2005, situated at No. 528 Zhangheng Road in the Zhangjiang High-Tech Park, Pudong. This state-of-the-art facility, which received an investment of 600 million yuan, spans 160 mu and seamlessly blends modern architecture with traditional design elements, creating a picturesque, garden-style medical campus.
